Departure from Quito, this fascinating tour will take you North from Quito via the Panamerican highway. Here you will stop and visit the colorful and artisan town of Calderon, famous for its dough bread dolls and figures. Continue to the famous Otavalo market then heading through the El Angel paramo to the Polylepis Lodge.

Hike around the beautiful lagoon Voladero in the Paramo El Angel with millions of frailejones flowers, also populated by the rainbow trout, which has replaced the Preñadilla, a native fish that now is almost impossible to find. In relation to birds, the curiquingue is one of most characteristic of the reserve. Gli-gli and the ducks are observed.

Heading on the "Ruta del Sol" down to The Conception Grotto of La Paz (ferruginous calcareal waters), then Chota Valley, rich producer of tropical fruits, with the joy of his brown music, by its black towns of the "Chota Chiquito", dance the original dance of the bottle, in demonstration of life and incredible balance.
